"Shinebwoy: The Journey of a Self-Made Entrepreneur and Musician."
My name is Shinebwoy, the founder of Shinebwoy Web Solutions. I am a Ghanaian entrepreneur and independent musician operating under the Shinebwoy brand. I help businesses, startups, and e-commerce brands grow online through custom websites that convert visitors into customers.
Raised between Tsetsekpo No.2, Tapa Abotoase, and Dzemeni, I learned early that nothing comes easy — you have to build it yourself. I am a self-taught, highly hardworking Full-Stack Developer who spent years grinding day and night to master web development from scratch. That same hustle that made me an independent musician is what I now use to help businesses build websites that actually work and grow.
I'm not just a web developer, I'm a builder. A builder of brands, websites, and opportunities. As the founder behind Shinebwoy Web Solutions which I started in July 2022, I am obsessed with growth — both mine and my clients'. I put in the work others won't, from learning complex code to making sure every business I work with gets a website that is fast, professional, and ready to sell.
I grew up between Tsetsekpo Number 2, Tapa Abotoase, and Dzemeni, communities around Kpando Torkor. To get to Tsetsekpo Number 2, we crossed the Volta Lake by boat, as it is a large island community. My early life in these towns taught me resilience, creativity, and the value of hard work. I attended my primary education at Tsetsekpo No.2 Basic School, and continued to Dzemeni E.P. Junior High School where I started in 2013 and completed my basic education in 2016.
After my basic education, I chose a different path from the traditional classroom and invested fully into self-education and practical skills development. I dedicated years to mastering web technologies, design principles, and digital business strategy through intensive self-learning, online professional training, and hands-on projects. This non-traditional path is what shaped me into a problem-solver and entrepreneur who learns fast and builds solutions that work in the real world.
My passion for web development started from a simple question: how do businesses in our communities get seen online? I was fascinated by how a single website could take a small local business and give it a global presence. I started learning to code with that curiosity, spending nights learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Shopify, and modern web frameworks. What started as curiosity became a skill, and that skill became a responsibility.
That responsibility is why I founded Shinebwoy Web Solutions in July 2022. I saw so many talented business owners in Ghana with great products but no strong online presence, or with poorly built websites that could not bring them sales. I founded the company with one clear mission: to help businesses grow by giving them affordable, professional, fast, and sales-driven websites. At Shinebwoy Web Solutions, we don't just build websites, we build digital growth tools for businesses.
Alongside technology, I have always been driven by music as an independent musician under the name "Shinebwoy". Music taught me branding, storytelling, and how to connect with people — skills I now use to help businesses tell their own stories online.
ShineBwoy started his music journey from the streets, where he used to rap and freestyle long before entering the studio. He officially began his professional recording career with his debut single titled "Beginning Fire", which was first recorded on Friday, 19th July 2019 and later released as an Afrosounds single on August 29, 2020. His early exposure to the big stage came when Ghanaian musician Stay Jay gave him the opportunity to perform, an experience that opened doors for him to meet Ghanaian superstars including Kuami Eugene, Brainny, and his hometown associate Stal I. Determined to prove his versatility, Shinebwoy jumped on the widely known Forever Riddim instrumental used by international acts such as Stonebwoy and Movado, releasing his own version titled "Be Careful [Forever Riddim]". He has since built a growing catalogue that includes "No Envy" produced by Vim Beatz and mixed by Xelxy, and the collaborative anthem "Work & Pray (feat. King Snaq)" which gained over 12.2K views and was promoted on Ghana Latest Songs in November 2021, establishing him as a promising Ghanaian Afrosounds and afrobeat musician.
